Making Space Project
Gifted from my Great-Aunt Peg to my Mom to me. To be honest, I have no recollection of these plates, but when my mom decided she was ready to pass them along, and when I learned they’d belonged to my Great- Aunt Peg, I had to have them. Aunt Peg, who spent years and years antiquing, lived in a home filled with undiscovered treasures waiting to be found, or at least that’s how we thought of her home when we were kids. As soon as we’d arrived, Uncle Persch would give each of us a dollar and then ask what kind of pop we’d like to drink. Afterwards, we play with whatever toys we could uncover throughout their home, while the adults did whatever it was that adults did in Pittsburgh, while we grew up in the 70s.
